QA Engineer III

ULTRA MOBILE 

is seeking a talented QA Engineer III to join the Quality Assurance Team! Role is remote; must reside in the United States.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The QA Engineer III will be responsible for end to end quality assurance of all products, services, apps, and websites for Ultra Mobile and Mint Mobile. The QA Engineer III will be involved in multiple areas of these products ranging from meeting with the development teams for Sprint Planning to executing test cases and logging bugs. This role will work with product managers to understand feature requirements, document cross-functional impacts, and create test plans. This role will also be responsible for triaging bugs and retesting fixes as necessary.

Your usual day of awesomeness includes:  

• Working cross-functionally with developers, product managers and project managers for test planning, test case development, and execution of the test plan/test case
• Working with development teams on Sprint Planning and test requirements as part of the Sprint
• Performing regression testing on existing products and services including apps and websites
• Testing applications on several layers (UI, API, database)
• Evaluating test results, bug triage and generating measures to ensure the highest level of product quality.  
• Creating automated tests to improve test coverage and execution speed across the application

WHAT YOU BRING

• At least 4-6 years of testing experience with a full understanding of SDLC processes.
• Ability to work closely with product managers and development teams including BI, E-Comm and apps teams to distill requirements into scenarios that can be verified and tested.
• Experience with Agile and Scrum
• Experience testing databases, backend services, APIs, and iOS/And
• Experience running and creating automation test scripts

In support of the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the range of starting pay for this role is $115,000 - $ 127,000.  This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, education, certifications, responsibility, and geographic location.  We also offer a variety of benefits including health, disability insurance, 401 (k), flexible spending accounts, EAP, education reimbursement, parental leave, unlimited vacation, bonuses, incentive stock options and company paid holidays.  The specific programs and options available will vary depending on state, start date, and employment type.
