Job Description 

Elwood is seeking to appoint a Quality Assurance Engineer with strong Manual testing experience to join our Engineering team based in London where you will contribute to providing testing solutions for Elwood’s OEMS and PMS platform.  The role is based out of the London office and will require working closely with the Engineering, Global Delivery, Product and Sales Teams. The individual will need to be flexible in their approach and able to react quickly to changing business needs.  

• Work with key stakeholders to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of new products and features
• Provide testing solutions for Elwood’s OEMS and PMS platform. 
• Develop effective testing strategies and test scripts
• Directly contribute to the building out of unit, regression and performance tests.
• Execute test cases and analyse results 
• Document testing phases and defects 
• Report bugs and issues to development teams and manage defects through to successful resolution
• Contribute to the success of the broader client release management process 
• Collaborate closely with other key stakeholders, including Product and Engineering
• Proactively create and drive impactful changes across support workflows, policies, and tools
• Expertise in creating customer support documentation for Elwood customers

Qualifications / Knowledge

• Strong Manual Testing experience
• Background in financial trading systems and software
• OMS/EMS/PMS testing experience
• Proven experience as a hand on Quality Assurance Tester / Engineer or similar role
• Familiar with full systems development lifecycle
• Able to create new processes and streamline current practices 
• Knowledge of Financial services/trading industry
• Crypto (Desirable) - 
• Excellent communication skills 
• Experience with structured programming languages (C#/Java/Golang)
• Desirable knowledge of tech stacks: JS/TS React, Golang, PostgreSQL, Cloud (Google Cloud) infrastructure, Docker, Terraform
