QA Engineer - Web Applications

Strong background in quality assurance methodologies, particularly in the context of Python and Django-based web applications. Additionally, experience in healthcare domain is preferred for this role.

Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance: Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and strategies for web applications built on Python and Django, ensuring the reliability, functionality, and usability of the applications.
Test Automation: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using Python-based tools (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, pytest) to streamline testing processes and enhance efficiency.
Regression Testing: Conduct thorough regression testing to identify and mitigate any potential issues or bugs introduced during the development process.
Performance Testing: Perform performance testing to assess the responsiveness, scalability, and stability of web applications, and collaborate with the development team to optimize performance.
Collaboration: Work closely with the development team to understand project requirements, identify potential risks, and provide QA insights throughout the development lifecycle.
Documentation: Create detailed test cases, test reports, and documentation to facilitate effective communication and knowledge sharing within the team.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
5-8 years of experience in quality assurance, with a focus on web applications development using Python and Django.
Strong proficiency in Python programming language and experience with Django web framework.
Experience with web automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver, pytest, and requests.
Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Knowledge of software testing best practices, methodologies, and tools.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and provide effective solutions.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Experience or familiarity with healthcare domain concepts and regulations is a plus.
