Our client is a US subsidiary of a Global Financial Bank working in multiple markets and asset classes.

This QA Engineer/Coordinator sits within the Technology Back Office - Corporate Technology Division of the bank. Our client is looking for a dedicated QA-minded professional, who likes to provide practical solutions. Our QA team focuses on testing all software products regardless of their platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and conducting tests before product/project launches to ensure software runs smoothly and meets client needs.

Responsibilities

This position will be responsible for testing front office, middle office and back office of the applications supporting Markets business. It is hands on position, you will be required to provide test strategy, test estimation, write and execute test cases, build test automation where it is applicable.
Additional responsibilities include work closely with the stakeholders, project manager, business analysts and the application developers, utilize functional documentation and technical specifications to facilitate the creation and execution of manual and automated test scripts, perform data analysis and creation of test data, track and help resolve defects. Ensure that all testing is conducted and documented in adherence with the bank's standard

Must have

Experience working with Capital Markets products Equities, Fixed Income, Structured Products - Outrights, Derivatives, Repos, Securities Lending, Secondary Loan Trading
12 to 15+ years of experience working in a role delivery of large multifunctional projects spanning from Front office to Back office including Risk and Finance Experience with coordination of large initiatives of firm supporting many systems Able to independently review and analyze business requirements; evaluate data sources, business rules etc
Position#1. QA Lead to support Industry wide intiative T+1 settlement, Position #2: QA Lead to support Credit and Market Risk Systems (Analytics and Reports) testing, Potential Future Exposure (PFE) modeling a plus QA coordinator/Manager with proven track record of stakeholder engagement and management Strong understanding of QA methodologies and SDLC (Waterfall and Agile) Hands on experience in Test Strategy, Test Planning, Test Estimation, Test Execution and Defect Management Hands on experience in creating and executing test scenarios, test cases, functional testing, regression testing, data driven testing and meeting their SLAs Experience in testing Trades, Positions, Cash, FOBO - Inter-system reconciliations and help to investigate to fine-tune the delivery.
Strong understanding of SQL concepts - must have experience in Oracle, SQL Server databases Experience with testing tools such as JIRA, Test Rail, TestNG etcControl M experience and SSIS - able to run jobs independently (Preferred) Experience with Data warehouse, Data lake MS Azure (Preferred) Experience with middle office systems Collateral management and Broadridge Systems - Finpro/ BPS/ Impact (Preferred) Automation experience is a plus in Java, Python, R, Selenium, Maven, IntelliJ Idea (Preferred) "Go-getter" attitude, ability to multitask and work in a team environment
