Job Description

At CareerHub, we design, manage, and support a suite of software-as-a-service web applications that empower universities and students globally. We are seeking a talented Quality Assurance Intern to join our team and contribute to the continued success of the CareerHub platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the acquisition and maintenance of in-depth knowledge of assigned products.
  • Assist in understanding both short- and long-term strategic goals for system features and enhancements.
  • Participate in Agile Scrum processes, providing support with clear and effective communication, both verbally and in writing.
  • Help develop, execute, and track test cases to support successful feature rollouts, focusing on delivering Minimal Defect Releases.
  • Assist with accurately documenting and managing issue tracking processes.
  • Support the coordination and maintenance of test scripts for assigned products.
  • Contribute to the development of automated testing tools and scripts.
  • Collaborate with product, design, development, and QA teams to help ensure quality client outcomes.
  • Provide support in identifying and advocating for process improvements and system enhancements to boost product quality.
  • Assist in creating user training materials and communication content for product releases.
  • Provide general support for additional tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 0-2 years of experience in a relevant role.
  • Experience working on large-scale projects.
  • Basic understanding of Agile software development processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising quality.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in productivity and workflow management tools (e.g., SmartSheet, Pivotal Tracker, Excel, Word).
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT.
