Cosm Internship Program
Are you ready to make your mark in the professional world? Cosm's ten-week summer internships offer exciting opportunities for personal and professional growth. As an intern, you'll work on projects with real-world impact and attend weekly learning sessions. You'll also get to participate in an "Ask Me Anything" (AMA) session with company leadership and visit our Experience Center in Salt Lake City for a hands-on experience with our products and next-generation innovations.Â

In this role, you will work directly with and support product design as you get hands-on professional experience in the immersive technology industry. Here you will learn how to build digital, consumer-facing products from the ground up on a cross-functional team that includes members from all disciplines: product, design, engineering, QA, and program management.
LOCATION: Salt Lake City, Utah
REPORTS TO: QA Lead
Program Dates:Â Interns will work up to 240 hours between 06/05/2023 to 08/25/23
The hourly rate for this role is $16.50 per hour
Responsibilities:- As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer Intern, you, with the QA Team, will be responsible for ensuring we deliver a defect free product to our customers
- Develop test automation and execute test scenarios
- Attend daily standup meetings, sprint planning, and retrospective
Optimize test coverage and evaluate test results - Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and designers through all stages of the design process and product development lifecycle to write and execute test scenarios manual/automated test
- Attend daily standup meeting, planning, and retrospective
- Sophomore, Junior or Senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree or equivalent level of experience in computer science/information technology
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Some technical competency
- Strong, clear communication skills
- Proficient in problem solving while keeping in mind multiple scenarios
- Able to clearly engage in communication around functionality and product issues
- Take pride and ownership in his/her work every day
- Enthusiastic about learning, innovating, and contributing to team goals
- Able to work independently and in cooperation with fellow quality engineers, software developers, and product owners to develop modern, scalable, business solutions serving our customers
