Job Description:

About the Role:

• Must be proficient in performing responsibilities listed below under Specific Responsibilities.  Must be able to supervise and assign work responsibilities for up to 10 employees, on either 1st or 2nd shift as needed. Perform all necessary Quality Assurance analysis and tests assigned by Quality Assurance Supervisor and /or Quality Assurance Manager.
• Perform chemical, physical, and sensory tests on all raw and finished products using approved methods to generate accurate data. Record all information in an orderly fashion and report all deviations from standard to the Quality Assurance Supervisor and/or Quality Assurance Manager.
• Review data recorded by hourly associates for completion and accuracy.
• Follow Quality Assurance procedures (such as standard work, micro testing, RCA, etc.) as described by Quality Assurance Supervisor and/or Quality Assurance Manager
• Be able to attain and perform against HACCP, FSMA, Acidified Foods and other certifications as needed.

Important Details: This is a full-time permanent role on 1 & 2nd shift, which operates from 5am-2pm 2:00pm-12am Monday through Friday with some Saturdays/Sundays.

• Possess basic food processing knowledge, including familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices
• Bilingual skills a plus
• Good communication (verbally and written), problem solving and organizational skills. Be accurate, precise, and attentive to detail.
