QA Lead

Job Description:

The Job/What You'll Do:

The QA Lead is responsible for leading and managing the quality assurance team, ensuring that all products and services meet the company's quality standards. The QA Lead will develop and execute test plans, manage test cases, and track defects. They will also work with developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that quality is built into the product development process.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all feature deliverables meet quality objectives
• Create written and coded/automated test cases
• Document and work with developers to resolve defects
• Design and execute automated QA scripts
• Work with developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure quality is built into the product development process
• Configure and Maintain test environments
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

• 5+ years' experience in a software QA role
• Experience in QA test processes and methodologies
• Familiarity with bug tracking and test case systems
• Experience with automation scripting languages
• Comfortable working in a non-structured, agile development environment with short release cycles
• Up-to-date on industry best practices
• Mentor and train QA team members
• Represent the QA team to senior management

Education & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in field, Required
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
• Experience in leading and managing a team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
