QA Lead, Front-End

Roadie is looking for a QA Lead to help lead our small but mighty front-end QA team. The QA Team builds test plans that expand our automation platform, ensuring the release of high quality code in a fast-paced CI/CD environment. 

What You’ll Do

• Lead the QA team responsible for the design, development, and execution of test plans and test cases for multiple features
• Review and analyze product requirements ensuring conformity to design guidelines 
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior members of the team
• Identify, isolate, document product defects, report issues, and verify the fixes
• Serve as a vocal advocate for quality in every step of the development process
• Run mobile and web automation suites and diagnose failures
• Manually test new features and recommend automated test development
• Create and adjust automated scripts as needed

What You Bring

• 5+ years of experience in a QA Engineer role
• Experience with Appium, Python and Cypress test automation frameworks
• 2+ years managing a small team of QA Engineers
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban
• Ability to troubleshoot complex software workflows
• Strict attention to detail, highly organized and efficient
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience manual testing of web and mobile applications
• Experience manually testing with Android and iOS on multiple OS versions and device types
• Experience manually testing on multiple browsers such as Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge
• Strong SQL knowledge
• Experience with testing E2E flows including the API
• Experience using GitHub
• Strong CI/CD (Jenkins, Travis, or CircleCI) and creating/maintaining yaml files
• Familiarity with Swift, Xcode, Kotlin, Android Studio, Firebase, and Crashlytics
• REST API, Postman/cURL
