Your Role and Responsibilities
The shift toward the consumption of IT as a service i.e. the cloud is one of the most important changes to happen to our industry in decades. At IBM we are driven to shift our technology to an as-a-service model

QA team members will have responsibilities towards an application centric cloud transformation by close-teaming with other IT teams to deliver environments in an agile consistent repeatable and rapid manner using IaaS PaaS SaaS services.
Individual will play a central role by delivering quality functions for development teams supporting test driven development framework. Scope will include Test Case writing Test Case Execution Automation Testing Data Creation API Validation
PR Reviews and operating a testing model that is self-service and innovative supporting agile needs of IT teams. Hence QA member will need to understand SDLC during an application development lifecycle and create the testing framework
necessary to provide infrastructure solutions with development teams for non-production and production environments.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Someone who can work with Command Line Interface and well versed with K8s (networking related to Kube overall architecture of K8s)
• Programming skills: Python REST API programming Triage and Bug Fixing
• Domain : Networking Storage Cloud Datacentres
• Linux : Proficiency with Linux commands and debugging
• Testing Skills: API Testing Functional Testing Automated Testing Test plan Development
• Tools: PyCharm JIRA QTest Confluence

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Container performance and security knowledge.
• Experience with Agile software development
• Jira and Confluence working experience.
• Containers and K8 security experience.
