As a QA Manager, you will drive Quality Assurance services for CSC internal and external applications & products. As the Quality Assurance subject matter expert, you are expected to provide software testing guidance for both manual and automated testing. The Quality Assurance team is positioned as the central stewards of Quality, Performance, Security, Automation, Monitoring, and Reporting - enabling CSC teams to benefit from continuous improvement of the team's ability to deliver software solutions with an emphasis on quality and speed to market.

Some of The Things You'll Be Doing

  • Define, drive and govern testing and quality strategy for business-wide projects and initiatives.
  • Lead the test automation team deliverables and quality strategy.
  • Provide the quality perspective of large-scale project plans which span multiple teams and business units.
  • Coordinate testing which spans multiple teams and business units, with respect to software releases, technical upgrade projects, and production incidents as necessary.
  • Design, implement, document, mature, and govern standardized quality assurance practices for the business unit.
  • Drive Automation and manual testing strategies
  • Mentor quality assurance team members across the business unit's development teams, both in group and one-on-one settings.
  • Perform impact and cost/value analysis on process improvements, tool evaluations, and other quality maturity efforts.

What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need?

  • 5+ years of Quality Assurance experience.
  • 2+ years of leadership of test automation development and execution projects targeting API, UI, and integration.
  • Applied subject matter expertise stretching across all aspects of quality assurance and test methodology, especially Functional, Usability, Reliability, Performance, and Supportability.
  • Demonstrated experience with continuous delivery, performance, security, monitoring and reporting is a plus.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff are a requirement.
  • Technical depth spanning multiple application architectures
  • Experience with Python, and Java is a must
  • Experience with PyCharm, Cypress or Lambdatest beneficial
  • Experience working within the Agile methodology, specifically SCRUM framework.
  • Experience leading testing/quality efforts across multiple teams/projects, as well as scrum mastery, is a plus.
