QA manual (Web team)

We are Quadcode, a fintech company excelling in financial brokerage activities and delivering advanced financial products to our global clientele. Our flagship product, an internal trading platform, is offered as a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution to other financial brokers.

We are seeking a QA manual engineer for the Web team.

Our team is engaged in the development and support of the company's web applications, including Progressive Web Applications, applications for payments and withdrawals, and user verification. In development, we use JavaScript, TypeScript, React; in testing, we use Java, Selenide, Cucumber, Allure TestOps. The tasks we solve have different profiles, ranging from minor interface changes to developing web applications from scratch.As a Quality Assurance (Manual) Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our new cross-platform client. You will work closely with our development team to identify, report, and resolve issues, ensuring that our product meets the highest standards of quality and functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with developers to communicate issues, provide feedback, and verify fixes.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure optimal performance and functionality across different platforms and devices.
• Document and track defects, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining accurate records of testing activities.
• Participate in design and requirement reviews to provide input on potential quality issues and ensure testability of new features.

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and techniques.
• Understanding web technologies: HTTP, HTML/DOM/CSS.
• Proficiency in Chrome Dev Tools aids in debugging and analyzing web applications.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to articulate issues, risks, and recommendations.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in automation testing would be advantageous, but not mandatory
