QA Reliability Director

As we evolve our Datex FootPrint WMS platform into a next generation 3PL/WMS SaaS Platform, we are looking for a leader that will oversee and build a Reliability engineering practice including QA. This role will closely partner with Product, development and solutioning teams to deliver reliable software to the end customers. This leader responsibilities include assuring quality products and processes by establishing and enforcing quality and reliability standards by studying product and consumer requirements with other members of management and with product management, development, and support. Experience in SLO, SLA, SLI establishment and deriving quality will be imperative in this role.

Responsibilities

• Build a team of automation test and reliability engineers with the core mindset of quality and defining and delivering on the quality standards.
• Managing test execution, defects, and the implementation of scheduled release items per the SDLC process.
• Ensuring that the system works as expected and that all products sent to customers and clients meet the company's and consumers' expectations of excellence.
• Developing effective testing procedures and training other quality assurance employees on how to perform the quality tests themselves.
• Establish and define Internal and External Service Level Objectives encapsulating the SLA and SLI's as required.
• Strategize with development organization of effectively using the Telemetry metrics and establish a feedback look though monitoring.
• Preparing product and processing quality reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

Requirements

Required Skills:

• Bachelors Degree preferred but will consider experience in lieu of degree.
• 8+ years of demonstrated experience in Quality Engineering leadership.
• Experience with Test Automation and establishing Service Level Objectives
• Experience with Functional, Performance/Scale testing, and Penetration testing
• Familiarity with DevOps, SaaS applications, continuous delivery, and test-driven development.
• Experience in setting and delivering quality standards in association with development organizations.
• Ability to build relationships and collaborate with geographically dispersed teams.
• Thrives in fast-paced, collaborative environments where change is the norm and the bar for quality is set high.
