Purpose

As a QA Engineer you'll be responsible for promoting a culture of quality by participating either as executor or as support for others in requirement analysis test planning test strategies creation test scenarios definition and test automation. Also responsible for ensuring the development process and its execution meet the quality requirements. The QA chapter defines the quality standards and processes that must be followed by the rest of the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team to design and build automation suites that fulfill the functional and non-functional requirements.

• Write and execute test plans and guide others to execute them.

• Identify and manage Software defects.

• Identify communicate and evaluate risks.

• Define the QA and automation best practices.

• Code reviewing.

Position Requirements

• At least 4 years of progressive experience in software engineering QA

• API Testing knowledge.

• Ability to create test plans and test strategies that consider the different levels of testing.

• Experience working with developers and other team members to define test strategies technologies used and best practices.

• Ability to manage and communicate software defects.

• Experience with software risk assessment and decision-making processes.

• Ability to undertake and lead medium to complex projects that require multiple iterations and different technologies.

• Ability to design and implement automation frameworks.

• Strong experience in Software Engineering.

• How a good Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) is organized.

• How the non-functional requirements are part of delivering a solution.

• Automation testing experience (creation and maintenance of scripts test data etc).

• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies tools and processes

• Proficiency in tracking quality assurance metrics.

• Experience estimating prioritizing and planning testing activities.

• Experience building automation framework.

• Experience with native browser-based and hybrid mobile applications.

• Strong experience building and executing mobile automated tests from scratch.

• Advanced knowledge of mobile console commands and logs (Android and iOS).

• Experience with different test types for mobile (e.g. Testing for device features different displays network conditions interruptions screen orientation etc.).

• Experience with mobile security testing.

• Strong knowledge of mobile UI /UX design patterns.
