SUMMARY
Lockton Affinity, in Overland Park, Kansas is searching for a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our IT team. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Completes functional testing of ecommerce websites and various software solutions and processes including testing of the application builds, including integration, functional, regression testing and performance tests.
• Manages issue triage process to track and resolve production issues
• Participates in requirements gathering and reviews the requirements for testability.
• Writes test plans, test procedures, and other test documents for the assigned software.
• Works within the context of a Scrum team to recreate issues and to resolve software quality issues that arise in day-to-day operations.
• Participate in deployment cycle by performing regression testing, logging issues, and supporting deployment activities.
• Provide help desk support for end users for a variety of systems.
• Support other systems as administrator backup.
• Provide consulting, training, reporting and technical support as needed for systems and services.
• Document procedures, policies and guidelines to support daily operational processes.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years relevant work experience required. Bachelor's Degree is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills required.
- Strong time management, initiative and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office365 Suite including Advanced Excel, Advanced Word.
- Experience in planning and performing functional testing.
- Some off-shift support may be required.
- Experience within the insurance and brokerage industry is a plus.
