QA Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled individual to join United Tech as a QA Team Lead. As part of our team, you will need to be systematic, results-oriented, and possess an ownership mindset. In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn and implement automated testing for mobile applications.

In this role, you will

• Lead the QA team and manage the testing process for iOS, Android, web, and backend platforms
• Implement metrics to measure QA team results
• Monitor and report on the quality of Mobile app releases
• Improve and implement QA policies, procedures, standards, and metrics
• Ensure that the QA team has the necessary resources and tools to test software effectively
• Design and execute test plans and test cases for iOS, Android, Web, and Backend platforms
• Collaborate with the development team to identify and resolve defects
• Grow and develop the QA team
• Conduct 1-to-1 sessions with team members, participate in hiring new QAs, and provide feedback

It’s all about you

• 4+ years of experience in Manual Testing
• 2+ years of experience in mobile application testing (iOS/Android)
• Experience in testing attribution in tools like AppMetrica, AppsFlyer, or similar services
• Proven experience in hiring Middle and Senior testers, both manual and automation QA
• Strong knowledge of databases (SQL) and excellent understanding of API testing using tools such as Postman, Swagger, Fiddler, Charles, and API documentation
• Experience in creating test cases, test plans, and test reportsFamiliarity with TestRail, Zephir, or X-Ray (at least one)
• Ability to create clear bug reports using tools like Jira, Mantis, or Redmine
• Proficiency in reading and analyzing mobile application logs
• Working experience with Agile/Scrum software development methodologies
• Experience in testing analytics event tracking, with familiarity in tools like Datagrip for DBMS and ClickHouse for analytics databases (or equivalent)
• Proficiency in writing informative articles using Confluence




Would be a plus

• Experience with manual testing and automated tests across backend, web, iOS, and Android platforms
• Intermediate level of English proficiency or higher
