QA Team Lead - Enterprise Justice
Job Description
The Supervisory Team Lead, QA works closely with the QA Manager and other Supervisory Team Leads to effectively supervise individual QA teams. Work assignments are both product, employee and project oriented and may be of varying size and complexity. The Supervisory Team Lead may work closely with the QA leadership for large-scale projects and/or under limited direction on less involved projects. This individual must be strong in their approach to development and be in a position to question a process or approach and/or suggest other ways to address the request or issue.
Responsibilities
- Supervise manual QA Analyst, Sr. QA Analyst and Team Leads.
- Provide thoughtful and professional feedback on quality assurance staff performance.
- Schedule and lead regular team meetings.
- Effectively and objectively communicate the status and risks of assigned projects to the QA Manager
- Analyze complex software issues to determine root causes and provide detailed reports to the QA Manager
- Remain up-to-date with QA industry standards, principles and practices.
- Implement QA standards and procedures on projects of varying degrees of complexity and provide expertise to development QA standards and procedures.
- Provide professional leadership and mentor other QA staff on various size projects of varying degrees of complexity.
- Lead project teams on process improvement and other QA initiatives; provide expertise primarily to various levels of staff in developing QA skills.
- Identify new procedures, methods and/or tools to improve the efficiency of the QA process involving prioritizing strategically and developing and delivering best practices.
- Responsible for reviews, attendance and tracking the professional progress of direct reports.
- Consistently maintain a high level of activity and productivity.
- Participate and provide expertise, innovate ideas and solutions during agile scrum meetings to gain and apply knowledge of feature requirements, system operation, and ensure new feature stories have appropriate test criteria defined.
- Organize work, set priorities, and determine resource requirements.
- Determine sequence of activities needed to maintain a high efficiency workflow.

- Validate documentation such as test cases and training documentation to ensure close alignment with the needs of the business.

- Occasional travel may occur.
Qualifications
- 8+ Years QA Experience including time in a leadership role.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Sciences, Management Information Science, or Business. Equivalent work experience may substitute for degree requirement.
- Prior experience in software quality assurance required, Tyler software or related experience helpful.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills involving sound decision making and effective resolutions.
- Exceptional understanding of QA testing methodologies and practices preferred.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Strong planning and organizational skills involving the ability to manage multiple work streams effectively.
- Strong time management skills with proven track record of delivering successful results.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills involving the ability to communicate verbally and in writing technical and non-technical information.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Ability and desire to mentor and train others.
- Highly motivated and self-driven and ability to drive others.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate in a team.
- Must be able to travel occasionally.
