Your Role and Responsibilities
As a QA (Quality Assurance) /Test Developer working on IBM’s enterprise-ready Data and AI platform – which includes IBM Cloud Pak for Data and IBM watsonx – you will be designing better ways to identify potential weak spots inefficiencies and issues within software systems. This position will work closely with development teams and other test engineers in the implementation and delivery of software products that meet rigorous quality standards budgets and timelines.

You will play a key role by delivering quality functions for development teams within test driven framework. Your scope will include Test Plan Development Test Case Execution Automation Testing Data Creation API Validation and incorporating test automation in the CI/CD pipelines.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 5+ Years of professional working experience
• 2+ Years of Experience in Software Test/Development/Automation: Be proficient in Java/Java Script/JMeter and in scripting languages such as Python/Perl/Groovy /Bash. Be familiar with databases and SQL as well as various cloud environments such as AWS Azure or IBM Cloud.
• Test Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive test plans and execute test cases to ensure software products meet quality standards and requirements. Understand Quality Assurance and Agile tools and methodologies.
• Automation Integration: Implement and integrate test automation into Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines with Jenkins/Travis to streamline testing processes and enhance efficiency.
• Quality Assurance: Deliver quality functions for development teams supporting test-driven development frameworks and ensuring rigorous quality standards are met throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Excellent Communication and Problem-Solving Skills: Good verbal and written skills with strong collaboration analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Testing framework automation experience: Selenium/Cucumber/Gherkin is a plus Experience in performance testing is a plus.
• Understanding containerized solutions including Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift is a plus Working knowledge of Kibana Elasticsearch or Jupyter Notebooks is a plus.
• Understanding of data sources (eg Snowflake Teradata DB2) data ingestion transformation and governance.
• Understanding of AI ops and governance.
