QA Tester

LastPass is looking for a Manual QA Tester 

We are seeking a detail-oriented Manual QA Tester to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our customers' experiences with LastPass products. You will test end-to-end customer journeys and document any errors or inefficiencies. Your responsibilities will include designing and executing test cases, identifying and documenting defects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software and experiences, and auditing and documenting customer journeys.

Who will you work with?

In this role, you will work directly with the LastPass journey management team and collaborate with various teams across the company, including product managers, user experience designers, engineers, customer success representatives, and marketing professionals.

What are some of the exciting challenges you will be working on?

• Develop and execute test plans and test cases to verify the functionality, usability, and performance of software applications and user journeys.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand test requirements and ensure they are met.
• Document and report defects, issues, and test results clearly and accurately using bug tracking tools.
• Perform exploratory testing to identify unexpected issues and usability concerns.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the QA process and testing methodologies.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure timely availability and high-quality user journey improvements.
• Provide feedback and insights to enhance the overall user experience and software quality.

What does it take to work at LastPass?

• Proven experience as a Manual QA Tester, including designing and executing test cases.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, quality assurance processes, and defect tracking.
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools and test management systems.
• Attention to detail and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality software.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective work with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills to identify and document defects and issues.
• Knowledge of web and mobile application testing across various platforms and browsers.
• Experience with different types of testing, such as functional, regression, usability, and compatibility testing.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and databases is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of Amplitude or other product analytics tools is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of user journey design and journey documentation tools, such as Miro, is a plus.
