Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer with expertise in both manual and automated testing methodologies. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing test strategies, test plans, and test cases within Agile development environments. This role requires proficiency in SQL, API testing, GUI testing, and backend testing, with a strong background in functional, regression, and system testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test strategies, test plans, and test cases for projects managed through Agile methodologies.
• Conduct functional, regression, and system testing to ensure software quality and adherence to requirements.
• Design, develop, and implement automation frameworks and strategies using Selenium WebDriver for UI automation.
• Create automation frameworks for API testing utilizing tools such as Cucumber.
• Utilize Jira for basic tasks including bug tracking and test case management.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Solid experience in both manual and automation testing.
• Proficiency in SQL for database testing and validation.
• Strong understanding of API testing tools and techniques.
• Experience with GUI testing and backend testing.
• Ability to design, develop, and implement automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver.
• Familiarity with automation framework development for API testing using Cucumber.
• Working knowledge of Jira for test case management and bug tracking.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Experience working in Agile development methodologies.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Experience with continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, Bamboo).
• Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
• Certifications in software testing or related fields.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field; or equivalent practical experience.
