Position Description: 

Candidates for the Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) Tester are detail oriented people who have a passion for finding opportunities to improve client-facing applications and the operations on which they run. 

Responsibilities:

• Map business requirements to software workflows
• Ensure software backend and frontend functionality matches requirements
• Assist with root cause analysis working with clients, developers,researchers, and customer success representatives
• Draft documentation for issues and resolution pathways
• Enter bug reports into reporting systems and tracking progress against client or technical requirement performance benchmarks
• Accept, document, and act upon user feedback and requests in multiple input mediums such as emails, chats, form fills, and client conversations

Skills:

• 2+ years of experience using bug reporting and tracking tools in software packages such as Jira, Github, Slack, and Confluence
• 2+ years of experience in workflow mapping, bug documentation, and resolution generation
• 2+ years of experience with software roadmaps
• Familiarity with AGILE software sprint cycles and timelines

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
• Must hold a TOP SECRET//SCI with counterintelligence polygraph

Ideal candidate will have:

• Experience in the Department of Defense or Intelligence Community
• Some experience coding in Java, Python, R, or C/C++
