Nuage Networks is looking for a QA/Test Engineer. As a Test Engineer with Nokia, you will be responsible for quality assurance testing related to virtualized/cloud platforms. Testing includes individual feature testing, interop testing with other vendors, evaluating the performance of the hardware, automating in a scripting language all test cases developed, and stressing and scaling these features along with other product supported features for different software releases. You will work closely with different groups within the organization including the Software and Hardware Development teams, Support team, and Product Management Team.

What you will learn and contribute to
• Develop and execute sophisticated software tests to verify conformance of feature(s) functionality implemented by Engineering against requirements specifications laid out by Product Marketing.
• Perform quality assurance tests to ensure completion of Nuage VNS (SD-WAN)/VSP(Public Cloud) features and interact extensively with software, hardware, and firmware teams.
• Participate in system design so that Quality Assurance is considered throughout the entire lifecycle of the Nuage Public/Telco Cloud and SD-WAN Feature Set.
• Automate test cases using in-house Python-based infrastructure and maintain them.
• Enhance test strategies, automation & build infrastructure with feedback and analysis from real-world Customer deployments.

Your skills and experience

You have:
• 4+ years of experience in Quality Analysis/Test large-scale complex products.
• Experience in IP networking testing and troubleshooting.
• Scripting/Programming skills in Python, TCL, Shell.
• Background in Layer 2 or Layer 3 VPN technologies (VxLAN, MPLS, VPLS, IP-VPN, OpenFlow, OVS-DB, BGP, BGP-EVPN, IPSec, TCP/IP).
• Testing security features like IPSec, IKE, IDS/IPS, URL filtering.
• Experience with Virtualized Switching Products such as OpenVswitch or Nexus 1000v and Server Virtualization expertise with KVM, Containers/Docker, Vmware ESXi.
• Experience in API Testing and REST, HTTP.
• Experience in test tools like Ixia, Spirent, Iperf, T-Rex.

It would be nice if you also had:
• Solid interpersonal and communication (both written and verbal) skills are required, must be able to successfully work in close-knit, global teams.
• Working on the ACL/Policy/QoS and Security area is desirable.
• Knowledge of Cloud services and technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP etc.).
• Exposure to Cloud Management tools as OpenStack, CloudStack, OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, HyperV is a plus.
• Familiarity with SQL, Linux, JBoss, Java, REST API, data mining, HTML5, Elasticsearch, and web-based applications.
