As a QC Analyst I join our QC Chemistry team, you will be trusted to support testing chemical, biological or microbiological products, raw materials, in-process materials, release test samples or stability samples in support of compliance with company standards and governmental regulatory requirements at Fort Worth, Texas.

In this role, a typical day will include:

• Supports QC Chemistry lab analysis of raw materials, in-process materials, release test samples or stability samples in support of compliance with company standards and governmental regulatory requirements.
• Works closely with a Senior Analyst to maintain inventory of laboratory consumables, reagents, and standards.
• Identifies alternate suppliers and qualifies them through Alcon's procurement system.
• Assists with on-boarding of new contractors and permanent employees and maintains training documentation system for the laboratory.
• May be responsible for analytical and protocol report writing and standard operating procedures. May be responsible for maintaining lab equipment and reagent preparation and quality.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +8 yrs; Assoc.+4 yrs)
• The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English
• Work hours: 40 Hours M-F 8am-5pm
