QC Analyst I

As a QC Analyst I joining our QC Analysis and Test Serv team, you will be trusted to work on testing biological or microbiological products, raw materials, in-process materials, release test samples or stability samples in support of compliance with company standards and governmental regulatory requirements at Fort Worth, Texas.

In this role, a typical day will include:

• Analyzes chemical, biological or microbiological products, raw materials, in-process materials, release test samples or stability samples in support of compliance with company standards and governmental regulatory requirements.
• Interprets and evaluates the analyses in terms of accuracy and precision compared against established specifications and recommends and implements corrective action where necessary. Develops, validates, and implements controlled environment methods.
• Applies existing techniques and procedures with recommendations and implementation of modification for improved efficiency, or devises and develops new analytical methods and techniques.
• Performs qualitative tests or quantitative assays on samples using techniques that vary from use of standard analytical equipment to highly modern and automated instrumentation. May also be involved in establishing requirements for the transfer of methodology from R&D. May be responsible for analytical and protocol report writing and standard operating procedures. May be responsible for maintaining lab equipment and reagent preparation and quality.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +8 yrs; Assoc.+4 yrs)
• The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English
• Work hours: 40 Hours M-F 8am-5pm
