Work Location: St. Louis, MO (on-site)

Group: Pharma Services Group

Division: Drug Substance Division

What will you do?

• Will be responsible for authoring QC deviations and laboratory investigations
• Assume responsibility of maintenance for QC Data trending for both commercial and clinical programs to support analysis of assay performance
• Active participant in daily Tier 1 huddle
• Collaborate with lab management for audit observations
• Author or revise QC documents (test methods, high risk forms, SOP's, etc.)
• Assist QC equipment coordinator with onboarding new equipment and/or maintenance tasks of current equipment
• Support laboratory activities including, but not excluding, chemical inventory, safety inspections, and controlled document reconciliation as needed

How will you get here?

Education

• Associates Degree with 2 or more years of relevant work experience or a Bachelor's degree with no experience, STEM degree preferred

Experience

• 1+ years of experience in the biopharmaceutical or pharmaceutical industry highly preferred
• Experience with assay and/or control trending in the biopharmaceutical or pharmaceutical industry is highly preferred
• Experience in writing deviations and laboratory investigations is a plus, but not required; Trackwise experience is a plus
• Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant work experience may be considered

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Proven experience in providing recommendations based on testing analysis for corrective actions
• Good knowledge and understanding of QC laboratory instrument technologies
• Strive for functional, technical and operation excellence
• Good knowledge of qualitative and quantitative chemical or microbiological analysis
• Ability to present information to customers and colleagues
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills, written and oral
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and governmental regulations
• Ability to write standard operating procedures, protocols, and reports
