Job Description:

Strong customer service skills are vital for these positions. Duties shall include, but may not be limited to:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or another related field or equivalent work experience.
• Include experience with other state agencies or government entities in any or all of the following: Qlik, relational database, data warehouse, data modelling concepts.
• A minimum of three (3) years of IT work experience in business intelligence tools and systems.
• Responsible for prototyping solutions, preparing test scripts, and conducting tests and for data replication, extraction, loading, cleansing, and data modeling for data warehouses. Understands the methodologies and technologies that depict the flow of data within and between technology systems and business functions/operations; and
• Maintains knowledge of software tools, languages, scripts, and shells that effectively support the data warehouse environment in different operating system environments; and
• Possesses working knowledge of Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) and data warehouse front-end tools; and
• Must have an extensive knowledge of virtual data mart, data modeling and data visualization in Qlik Sense Enterprise.

Contractor Responsibilities

The Data Warehouse Analyst is anticipated to begin on or before June 12, 2023. At a minimum, the Contractor shall provide the following services:

• Deliver and lead consulting engagements in-person and via web conference for assigned clients regarding new and modifications to existing Qlik app development; and
• Take ownership of testing and evaluation of new Qlik applications and their implementation to each Division to meet Division requests; and
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision or as part of a team; and
• Able to multi-task and refocus based on changing priorities while meeting all deadlines assigned; and
• Able to communicate effectively and patiently with both customers and employees.
