We are currently looking for a Sales (Sr) Manager to support and focus on the sales of our Quality Management & Compliance (QMC) Services to Pharma/Biopharma industry clients in US and Puerto Rico. Candidates should be dependable self-starters who bring with them a high level of ownership over their work, an enthusiastic attitude and a collaborative mindset to support our efforts to provide Quality Management & Compliance consulting services to pharmaceutical and biotech companies of all sizes.
As a Key Contributor You Will be responsible for the sales of PharmaLex QMC Service Lines (throughout US & PR), expanding our customer base and achieving sales benchmarks to ensure profitable QMC growth in sales and revenue.
Key Responsibilities and Activities

As a Key Contributor You Will be responsible for the sales of PharmaLex QMC Service Lines (throughout US & PR), expanding our customer base and achieving sales benchmarks to ensure profitable QMC growth in sales and revenue.
Key Responsibilities and Activities
- Collaborate with QMC group leaders to establish and execute sales goals for the region in alignment with business objectives
- Develop detailed strategic sales plans in alignment with the US sales strategy to ensure growth in both the long and short-term, through creativity and persistence - Leverage existing relationships to expand accounts Selling Pharma Lex QMC portfolio
- Collaborate with US/PR QMC Technical Leads for development of new leads and sales approach
- Build and maintain rapport with customers while assessing customer needs and identifying new customer opportunities
- Analyze regional market trends and identify potential opportunities for QMC Services growth and provide market feedback on trends to QMC Technical Team leads
- Suggest industry events that Practice Area Leads should be aware of and Represent PharmaLex at industry events
- Forecast quarterly and annual sales goals for the US & PR QMC teams
- Diligent keeping of leads, opportunities and project status in company database
- Suggest new services/product lines and innovative sales techniques to complement current service lines and increase customer satisfaction
- Update job and product line knowledge and pharma/biopharma industry trends by participating in training or other educational opportunities, reading professional publications and maintaining personal benchmarking networks.
- Collaborate with PLX US Commercial Sales team, subject matter experts and global sales team
- Other duties as assigned
Required Education, Experience, Skills and Competencies
- Undergraduate Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or scientific fields and 3-5 years' sales experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proven work experience in a Regional Senior Sales role within the pharmaceutical/life sciences industry, preferably in Seling Services to the Pharma/Biopharma Industry.
- Ability to measure and analyze key performance indicators (ROI and KPls) ·
- Ability to develop and utilize cross-functional relationships to facilitate the accomplishment of work goals and objectives
- Understanding of pharmaceutical Quality Requirements for Manufacturing, Validation and Quality Systems
- Experience developing Proposals, Master Service Agreements and participating in RfP events
- Experience developing and leading capabilities presentations
- Bilingual, with very good command of English and Spanish language; Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills
- Outstanding organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Desired Experience, Skills and Competencies
- Experience with CRM software, preferably Salesforce
- Established Network of Industry contacts
- Proven and verifiable record of experience in driving sales from start to finish
- Creative Lead Development approach
- Comfortable to present Pharma Lex Quality Management and Compliance service portfolio to clients
- Knowledgeable about competitor landscape for Pharma Services
