This is an exciting time at Enovix! We are looking for experienced candidates to help support our new lithium-ion battery production facility in Penang, Malaysia for commercialization of our 3D Silicon™ Lithium-ion Rechargeable Battery.

Job Summary: 

Primary Functions are to Manage the Quality Management System function, which includes Internal Audit, Customer Visits/Audits, Document Control and Act as the Quality Management Representative. Responsible for developing the QMS strategy, policies, processes, standards and systems for the Company/s and its supply chain to operate within. Responsible to ensure flawless implementation of cross learning and standardization among all Enovix Factories/Sites. Develop and sustain Quality Management System in line with the required industry standards (including: ISO9001:2015, IATF16949), accreditation requirements and business requirements across the organization through existing and new procedures. Regulate, control and improve the quality of all processes throughout the business and the final product. Manage the audit program to ensure robust business process with all nonconformities raised during customer and/or system audits are effectively corrected and independently verified. Embed a culture of continuous improvement throughout the company. Lead all stakeholder and cross functional team to achieve quality management system targets for customers and business goals.

Responsibilities:

• Strategy, Planning and Execution for HQ, Penang site and all other sites QMS activities
• Standardization of QMS vision, mission, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and Contribute to new business initiatives and projects and review and communicate the impact on Quality Management Systems (QMS)
• Develop the Management Systems strategy and the management, responsible for key milestones, demonstrating solid progress against QMS Strategy Plan
• Responsible for Quarterly Management Review Meetings with all Enovix sites and continuous improvement
• Ensure flawless implementation of all relevant procedures described in the Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure accountability from respective process owners to maintain and revise in timely manner and manage Document Control System (Doccon)
• Ensure that all in-house systems and procedures are updated, revised and modified to meet the needs of external certification bodies, update quality documentation and communicate to lesson learned from quality concerns to the rest of organization
• Ensure that all necessary systems and procedures are in place to satisfy all customer requirements and audits. Customer Specific Requirements officially recorded and maintained as official documents
• Develop or engage with 3rd party for E-QMS system, its relevant automated workflow and infrastructure to support RnD and High Volume Manufacturing
• Undertake regular internal and process audits of the QMS & Ensure corrective actions are undertaken to address non conformities found during Internal Audit, 3rd part Audit, System Audit and Customer Audits
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance and work collaboratively, negotiate and engage with key stakeholders to Liaise and communicate with other departments, customers, suppliers and other service providers
• Define & Ensure KPIs are met by working to the overall plan, including management of, and reporting on accomplishment of targets and identify any actions required
• Manage, coach and develop a high performing Quality System team that meets agreed objectives and which delivers best practice results, added value and continuous improvements

Qualifications:

• Relevant Manufacturing/Engineering Degree or Masters with 5-7years of working experience
• Significant experience in a high volume manufacturing environment in battery, semiconductor or automotive field
• Strong technical knowledge and Process based approach in both in Design Development and High Volume Manufacturing
• A detailed understanding of ISO9001:2015 / IATF16949 preferable
• Six Sigma/Lean Manufacturing skills
• Experience of dealing with customers, suppliers, internal stakeholders and
