Education and Experience Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required. 2 years quality assurance/control, manufacturing operations, maintenance and/or military operations experience is requiredAerospace industry experience preferred

Position Purpose:

Responsible for providing support to ongoing investigations on known Quality issues. Works with quality senior personnel who will assist in navigating Gulfstream processes. Implements plans and instructions in support of departmental policies Ensures compliance with all applicable regulations and develops and promotes a good working relationship with local regulatory authorities. Ensures a safe, conforming and quality product is delivered to our customers.

Job Description

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:

1. Participates in investigations on Quality issues.
2. Participates in process improvement projects related to achieving improved quality or efficiency of Quality processes.
3. Maintains a high level of customer satisfaction (internal and external customers) .
4. Works with other departments and/or disciplines.
5. Maintains a 6S work area.
6. Executes company policies and procedures.
7. Promotes and encourages a continuous improvement culture.
8. Assists in interrogating data and preparing an analysis or associated documentation.

Additional Functions:

1. Supports the operating priorities as identified by the Quality leadership team
2. May support other areas of Quality

Perform other duties as assigned.

Other Requirements:

1. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
2. Familiar with Statistical tools used for problem resolution.
3. Working knowledge Lean/Six Sigma principles.
4. Familiar with manufacturing and/or maintenance processes (i.e. Assembly, Machining, Special Process, Inspection, etc.).
5. Good communication and interpersonal skills required.
6. Proficient computer skills.
