Role: Quality Analyst

Years of Experience: 6+ years

Location: Remote (work in Pacific time zone)

 

Key Responsibilities:

· Creating and managing test strategy documents to define “Software Testing Approach” to achieve testing objectives.

· Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents with the project team to provide timely and meaningful feedback.

· Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.

· Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.

· Perform a walkthrough of the test cases /test suites created with development team, BA, Business success team .

· Create reports on testing status and communicate to team and leadership.

· Design, develop and execute automation scripts.

· Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs.

· Chair and manage QA defect triage sessions with the project team.

· Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.

· Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.

· Liaise/collaborate with internal teams (e.g., developers, team leads, business analysts) to identify system requirements.

· Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions.

· Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.
