Position Summary

Astro-Tek Industries (ATI), a CMT company, is seeking a Quality Assurance Administrator for our Anaheim, CA location. This position will work with an excellent team of individuals in the Aerospace industry providing cutting edge products to top tier aerospace manufacturers and the Department of Defense. *This position works a schedule of Monday thru Thursday from 6:00am-4:30pm and OT on Friday from 6:00am-11:00am. The salary range for this position is between $20.00 - $30.00/hr. depending on experience*

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintains a safe working environment by ensuring compliance with procedures and safety regulations.
• Works as part of the team by performing quality control checks, prioritizes workload, and assists the team with the preparation of product for shipment. 
• Prepares documents, production sheets, and/or other reports and related paperwork as required.
• Follows general inspection guidelines to conduct critical non-routine visual, dimensional, mechanical, and electrical tests and functional inspections on a wide variety of components, assemblies, and materials.
• Performs inspection tasks involving the use of a wide variety of test instruments and equipment to measure values and record functional operation of components.
• Maintains inspection records and documentation in accordance with government, customer, and Company standards.
• Assists Quality Assurance during internal audits and customer audits as needed.
• Participates in Corrective Action Processes, including containment plans, root cause analysis, corrective countermeasures, and providing objective evidence for verification/closure. 
• Responsible for conducting First Article, In-Process, Final inspections, and accurate report generating utilizing AS9102 FAIR format.
• Scans and archives quality documents and certifications as needed.

Experience, Qualifications, and Skills

• High School/GED or equivalent education is required.
• Knowledge of AS9100, internal auditing and RCCA/CAPA experience is required.
• Discus/InspectionXpert software knowledge for Generating First Articles is required.
• 1-5+ years of aerospace experience in the use of quality tools such as FMEA, PPAP, process mapping, and statistical sampling methods is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to organize and motivate cross-functional teams to meet quality goals.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints with knowledge of GD&T.
