Who we are looking for:

As a QA Architect with a focus on data you will have the opportunity to define and implement best practices to ensure data quality. Be part of a highly engaged team bringing in your specialty without being the sole owner of quality. Mentoring team members across the company on what is quality, how to achieve it and how to think like a tester.

What you’ll do:

• Define and promote quality assurance policies and standards to achieve data quality
• Assist with Data Governance
• Work closely within Engineering and Product to deliver on strategic initiatives while identifying patterns for ingested data
• Evangelize shift-left testing practices across the organization
• Promote a learning culture while driving innovation with the goal of improving on all relevant KPIs
• Oversee the quality for high volume backend systems, web-based applications and data
• Mentor the engineering organization in automation implementation and best practices when applicable
• Foster a high degree of teamwork and collaboration across the organization
• Be the voice of our users by becoming a subject matter expert of Samba products while conducting hands on testing

What you’ll Need:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Software Test in XP or agile methodologies
• Minimum of 2 years in overseeing team members
• Knowledge of Shift Left Testing and willingness to adhere to established processes
• Strong knowledge of SQL
• Experience with Jira
• Demonstrated experience with Selenium Webdriver and/or Jmeter or Postman
• Willingness to be an active participant in testing activities and documentation as needed for manual UI and API testing
• Willingness to mentor Development and Product members in ‘how to think like a tester’
• High EQ and soft skills
• Self-starter, detail oriented, ability to multitask and prioritize
• Open minded and willingness to explore different ways software testing can be accomplished
• Strong written and oral communication
