The Quality Assurance CASS Analyst is responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing Continuing Analysis and Surveillance System (CASS) audit findings, Corrective Action Responses (CAR),  and performing analysis of audit and operational data to identify potential discrepancies with maintenance and inspection programs.  Performs risk and root cause analysis, interfaces with Subject Matter Experts (SME) in the identification of the root cause of system deficiencies in maintenance and inspection programs, and evaluates current processes and procedures for effectiveness. This job is also responsible for preparing reports related to safety for department leaders. 

 Here’s what you’ll do
  • DATA collecting, input, mining, analysis, and reporting
  • Develops and maintains CASS findings, CAR, and Root Causes in Quality Data Base
  • Compiles data from the Quality Data Base to create monthly reports.
  • Develops analytical tools utilizing the Quality Data Base focusing on systems that capture data needed to measure trends of operational, quality audits, investigations, and safety data.
  • Utilizes data modeling to design systems and views processes and data flows for systems analysis.
  • Evaluates internal compliance and effectiveness of established policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Analyzes processes and procedures that are prone to create erroneous data, and conduct testing to ensure that systems operate as expected
  • Conducts analysis of operational data obtained through quality audits, investigations, and safety reviews to provide mitigation recommendations to leadership.
  • Creates and edits reports and analysis intended to highlight and resolve safety related issues throughout the organization.
  • Supports Quality Assurance Auditors to prepare audits through research, performing risk analysis, and scheduling of audits
  • Prepares CAR and accomplishes follow-up when deficiencies are identified
  • Determine root cause of system deficiencies of Maintenance and Inspection programs by interfacing with the operational, audit, and reliability departments
  • Identifies and prioritizes system audits using risk assessment methods.
  • Reviews analysis results to determine risk associated with maintenance and inspection programs.
  • Conducts follow-up analysis to ensure compliance with and test the effectiveness of corrective and preventative actions.

 Here’s what you need to be successfulMinimum Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent educational achievement
  • Understanding and working knowledge of FAR part 5, 39, 43, 65, 91, 121, and 145, as well as AC 120-79 and 145-9
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Must have a valid passport with no travel restrictions
  • Must have authorization to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
  • Must be flexible and willing to work days, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime if needed
  • Must be willing to travel over 30% of the time
  • Must be willing to work with other departments within the company as needed
Preferred Qualifications
  • Degree in Aerospace, Aviation Maintenance, Analytics, or equivalent industry related work experience
  • Five years of Aviation experience with at least five years in an Analyst role or function.
  • Hold a current, valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant License (A&P) with no history of infractions
  • Understanding of Safety Management System (SMS) rules
  • Qualified and experienced as a C.A.S.E. Auditor or Evaluator
Skills/Abilities
  • Strong Skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau or similar analytical software systems. Preference given to candidates capable of automating reports, charts, and tables from databases.
  • Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate with both internal and external customers
  • Must be able to handle high-stress situations
  • Ability to work with fellow Team Members with a variety of personalities
  • Ability to multi-task easily
  • Must be fluent in English
