Quality Assurance Coordinator - Fort Worth, TX   Day Shift: Flexible  Pay Rate: $23.50/hr 

Your seat at the table

• Complete food safety and quality documentation requested by customers, suppliers and internal management.
• Assist with managing supplier documentation
• Complete food manufacturing registrations and licenses
• May assist with external audits
• Document Control - Create and update documents, perform annual reviews
• Manage QA sample requests
• Manage on-going shelf life program
• Assist in customer complaint investigations
• Assist in preparing reports, agendas and minutes
• Assist in tracking company’s Facility Inspection & Internal Auditing program
• Creating and updating training events and documents
• Assist with managing organic, non-GMO project and gluten free certification documentation
• Order supplies for Quality and Sanitation
• Assist in External Audit(SQF, FDA, Customer) and Customer visits
• Assist in corrective action plan and close out.
• Responsible for internal audits(monthly and annual)
• Support QA and Sanitation departments based on business needs
• Manage documents to comply with corporate retention policy
• Other tasks as assigned by QA Supervisor and/or QA Manager.

What you bring to the table

• 2 years of experience in a quality assurance department
• Experience/Knowledge using Microsoft Excel and Word
• Computer Skills
• Knowledge of basic office equipment
• Able to do multiple tasks and prioritize.
• Data entry Knowledge
• Self-Motivation
• Good organizational skills
• Good communication skills, verbal and written
• Willing and able to get along with others
• Good judgment and reasoning abilities
• Familiar with SQF. SQF Practitioner preferred or obtain practitioner certificate within 6 months
• HACCP certified preferred or obtain certification within 6 months
• Good attention to detail
• Knowledge, skills, and abilities consistent with the essential duties and responsibilities
