Quality Assurance Engineer

In FDNA, we work on the early detection of rare diseases with the help of AI (Artificial Intelligence) technology. FDNA's technology is used by 70% of the world’s geneticists across 2,000 clinical sites in over 130 countries; our next-generation phenotyping (NGP) technologies capture, structure and analyze complex human physiological data to produce actionable genomic insights. FDNA is part of Nacre Capital, a leading global venture builder, and is seeking a qualified Lead Quality Assurance Engineer to advance FDNAs applications.

We are looking for product minded and meticulous individuals with hyper attention to detail and with a passion for building the ‘right’ product to lead our Quality Assurance Team. As a team lead you will be part of our Product team. A successful candidate will work closely with the engineering, Product and Clinical team to release high quality applications.

Responsibilities:

● Reports to the Head of Product and part of the Product group.

● You will handle the Quality of the product. Ensuring that all quality check points are met.

● You will be leading a team of quality assurance engineering; automation and manual testers

● You will handle the QA infrastructure selecting the tools and method to use.

● You will be working together with engineers, AI and Clinical team to define and implement a wide

OKR to bring us to release with high velocity and high confidence (>95% confidence)

● You will be expected to have superior knowledge of the product and its inner workings and

dependencies.

● You will handle the Test Suite library

● You will handle QA documentation.

● You will handle ensuring that the team under your leadership stands to the quality required by the

organization.

● You will handle the health of the product after release by monitoring systems daily and finding

issues.

● You will be expected to communicate with stakeholders and to provide support and guidance on

how the product works, etc.

● You will handle QA requirements and will play a significant role in qualifying requirements and

specifications before they are ready for development.

● You will handle planning and sequencing QA activities in collaboration with PM and other team

members.

● Excellent communication skills (English)

● Proven record of accomplishment leading a QA team

● Proven record of accomplishment working with automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium)

● Proven record of accomplishment building testing infrastructure as part of a team or alone

● Proven record of accomplishment doing data driven QA testing (e.g., DB testing)

● Proven record of accomplishment working with API based tests (e.g., Postman, scripts)

● Good Experience testing asynchronous system

● Good Experience in mobile testing including Android, iOS

● Knowledge of software architecture specifically MS services, Event driven

● Knowledge of Web technologies including Web Applications, Browser, HTTP protocols

● Excellent at planning and sequencing QA testing activities

● Excellent test writing and reporting skills

● Experience monitoring system logs

● Can write some code - scripts to automate tests and other QA related tasks.

● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

● Experience in the digital health industry or healthcare domain is a plus.
