MNTN technology pushes the limits of application development, taking advantage of the latest open-source software with a strong emphasis on building flexible technology to put the control in our users' hands. Our microservices handle hundreds of millions of requests per day, upon which a platform for real-time behavioral marketing is built to drive performance in cross-device advertising. We heavily utilize open-source technology and in-house solutions to meet the low latency demands of rapid response advertising.

We are currently developing innovative new features, and we’re looking for top test/quality engineers to ensure our very high quality bar is met and raised. As a Quality Assurance Engineer (QAE) you will architect, design and build test suites and test automation to push our advertising systems to their limits and beyond.

You will work with product management, program management, development teams and our QA organization to scope out features and understand the customer requirements, then work side-by-side with the team to ensure the quality of our system.

You should have a demonstrated track record of delivering test automation, quality requirements, designing performance and scale test suites and producing deliverables that exceed commitments. You should also be comfortable presenting technical material to internal and external audiences in support of our customers. You should be able to develop test frameworks, define and implement functional, end to end, API and data integrity testing. Our QAEs are also responsible for driving our software development process toward quality-centric methodologies and for reporting on test progress, metrics, issues and risks.

You Will:

• Drive the strategy for automation tools or scripts to improve product and engineering health.
• Deliver test plans based on Product Excellence/test strategies. Own test plan reviews with engineers and other stakeholders across functions.
• Guide the test framework, test preconditions, and other test control and reporting functions to enable others to test functionality.
• Own opportunities and manage efforts to improve existing test infrastructure or create new test infrastructure to increase efficiency and productivity in test case development, scheduling, or deployment.
• Participate in product design review with product managers, software engineers, and other stakeholders to contribute to product design, testability, and implementation.

You Have:

• 5 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed & dynamic organization.
• 4 years of experience in Software development, coding, developing test automation using Python, or Java or C#. 
• 3 years of experience in building and scaling test automation for web based applications using Javascript or Typescript. 
• 4 years of experience in developing test methodologies, writing test plans, creating test cases, and debugging.
• Experience with at least one automated test framework like Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium Webdriver.
• Familiarity with SQL, Postgres, Big Data, Kafka, AWS is a plus.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
