Quality Assurance Engineering Architect

In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping our quality assurance strategy, designing innovative testing frameworks, and ensuring that our products consistently exceed the highest standards of quality.

National and international expected traveling time varies according to project/client and organizational needs: 0%-15% estimated.

Key Responsibilities:

• Test Automation Strategy: Design and implement robust automation frameworks and test scripts to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness across our software products.
• Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD): Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, utilizing tools such as GitLab CI to ensure seamless deployment and consistent testing of applications.
• Test Design & Architecture: Create scalable, reusable, and maintainable test architectures with a focus on maximizing test coverage and managing test data effectively.
• Risk Management & Test Optimization: Identify critical areas for testing and optimize test suites to ensure both efficiency and comprehensive coverage of functionality.
• Programming Language: Leverage proficiency in JavaScript to develop automated tests and improve existing test codebases.
• Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead and mentor QA teams, providing technical guidance, fostering a culture of collaboration, and inspiring high performance within the team.
• Quality Metrics & Reporting: Define and track quality metrics such as defect density and test coverage, and create actionable reports to communicate findings and trends to stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or Architect with a focus on automation and testing strategies.
• Expertise in designing and implementing automation frameworks, with hands-on experience in writing test scripts.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools, particularly GitLab CI or comparable platforms.
• Proficiency in JavaScript; familiarity with additional programming languages is a plus.
• Hands-on experience in test design and architecture, emphasizing scalable and maintainable testing solutions.
• Solid understanding of risk management principles in a QA context, with the ability to optimize test processes effectively.
• Experience in team leadership, mentoring, and creating a collaborative team environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
