Quality Assurance Lead

We’re looking for a QA Lead to join our ever-growing Engineering team.

We want this person to be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our product through comprehensive test planning, development, and execution. The ideal candidate will have experience managing a small team of around 2-3 people and be hands-on in their approach.

Day in the Life

• Leading and executing on test planning, creating test strategies that cover all aspects of the product, including the web portals, integrations, and Chrome extension.

• Collaborating closely with software engineers, the product team, and wider business in design discussions to provide quality-focused input to the development process.

• Developing and maintaining automated tests, improving test coverage and efficiency using Playwright (NodeJS) with BrowserStack – building on our existing test suite.

• Analysing bug reports from Customer Success and end-users, reproducing issues, and working with the Engineering team to prioritise and resolve them.

• Conducting regular Quality Audits of the product, identifying areas for improvement, and proposing solutions to enhance the quality of the product.

• Managing and guiding other team members on QA best practices, fostering a culture of quality across the business.

• Coordinating with Customer Success and Pre-sales teams to understand customer pain points and ensure they are addressed in testing processes.

• Monitoring and reporting on key quality metrics, providing updates to the Leadership team on the state of product quality.

• Staying up to date with industry trends and new testing methodologies to continuously evolve our QA processes.

What You Bring to the Team

The ideal candidate will have experience in developing QA strategies that align with business objectives and product quality.

• Strategic QA: Ability to develop QA strategies that align with business objectives and product quality.

• Automation Expertise: Designing, implementing, and maintaining test automation using Playwright (NodeJS) and BrowserStack.

• Integration Testing: Experience in testing complex system integrations with cloud-based services and APIs.

• Leadership and Communication: Ability to influence cross-functional teams of both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Manual Software Testing: Proficiency in performing manual tests to complement automated testing efforts.
