Job Description
Position:Â Quality Assurance Manager
Schedule:Â Based on a 40 hour work week, Monday-Friday.
Starting Salary Range: *Â $60,000-$75,000 annually.
*The stated starting salary pay range for this position is meant to reflect a range of where a typical entry level candidate would start and is not meant to be all inclusive. Additional education and experience may result in a starting pay outside of the stated range.*

As a Quality Assurance Manager you will be a valuable asset to Laradon’s mission by maintaining and monitoring quality of service throughout all of Laradon’s programs. This position is responsible for ensuring accuracy of evaluations, audits, monitoring, surveys and health and safety functions. May identify, evaluate, and implement corrective action against risks that may result in injury, property loss or damage, or legal liability.
No day is ever alike but you can generally look forward to the following responsibilities:
Oversee the internal and external audit program, which includes focus compliance, regulatory agency inspection readiness, and for-cause inspections.
Conduct regular drills and communication tests to ensure smooth internal response and compliance with safety standards.
Investigate accidents and claims to identify root causes and determine future prevention strategies.
Engage external business and industry experts to learn and influence operational strategies, constantly remaining alert and forward thinking about opportunities and risks in the industry and to Laradon.
Gather and compile data related to services provided in order to evaluate the effectiveness of processes.Â
Analyze data and results from programs to identify best practices, trends, issues and challenges in program implementation.
Conduct and or lead investigations related to allegations of Mistreatment.
Make recommendations for program best compliance and safety practices and lead risk management for the organization.
Develop implementation strategies that address business requirements and engage appropriate teams, including outside partners that will deliver appropriate outcomes.
Develop organization emergency preparedness plan and provide technical assistance and training to staff.
Participate in committees to enhance service provisions.
Championing community partnerships through contacts in order to expand and progress the organization as a whole.Â
Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
As Laradon is a small employer and employees work in a collaborative, team environment, employee must be physically present on the organization’s property or at locations where programming occurs including, but not limited to: residential settings, day program satellite and/or community connection sites as dictated by individual job descriptions.

We ask that you bring the following assets:
Bachelor’s degree in related field. Five years of experience in Quality Assurance may be substitute for a Bachelor’s degree.
Knowledge and minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance, monitoring or review systems and knowledge of effective and efficient quality assurance tools, processes and protocols.
Experience working with and knowledge of the Colorado Department of Education standards, Health Department, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Colorado Department of Human Services (CDHS) rules and regulations for Day Treatment and applicable laws, and CDHS rules for RCCF, preferred.
Experience working with and knowledge of the Colorado Department of Health Care Policy and Financing, Division for Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, preferred.
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in basic Microsoft Office systems.
Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing.
Organizational skills with the ability to work on multiple projects at one time.
Detail oriented.
Excellent time management skills.
Ability to work with a variety of people and maintain effective working relationships with all employees including utilizing conflict resolution skills.
Proficient in business writing and report preparation.
Valid driving license, good driving record and reliable personal transportation.
Physical requirements include the ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force; physical condition to enable walking, standing, sitting, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling; stamina to be on feet and active for full workdays; ability to speak or exchange information in an audible manner.
