Quality Assurance Specialist

The Opportunity

Our Quality department is looking for a Quality Assurance professional to deploy and support a Quality Culture within local Hitachi Energy, by assuring and controlling Quality with systems, tools and teams to exceed customer expectations while ensuring sustainable operations, supporting and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) of the local unit.

How you'll make an impact:

• Local Quality Management System management, auditing and improvement;
• Quality Management System audits: preparation, organization and lead, both from external entities and Corporate Group audit (Global Quality Audit, Self-Assessment)
• Internal audits (process audits): Program development; training of internal auditors and maintaining a list with auditors with skill matrix; follow-up of performance;
• Audit Non-conformities management and follow-up with relevant process owners;
• Documents control: review and improvement of all processes in ADONIS together with process owners; transfer of all QMS documents in xECM; maintain up-to-date documentation;
• Raising the quality awareness in the company: induction quality training development; quality survey development for different layers in the company, analyzing the results and supporting the implementation of improvement plans;
• Lead the local teams in the application of an operational approach and system of process management that is continually evaluated for effectiveness;

Your background:

• Bachelor's degree;
• Preferably 2 years of experience in similar position;
• In-depth knowledge of ISO standards, with background and experience with audit methodologies and techniques is considered a plus;
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English (B2 level appreciated)
• Knowledge of MS Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power-Point);
• Should be eager to learn, flexible, open-minded, team-work oriented and pro-active.
