Who we are looking for

A QA lead for Global Markets Foreign Exchange Ops & Local Market IT teams.

State Street is looking for an experienced Senior Test Engineer/Lead to lead Global Markets Foreign Exchange Ops & Local Market IT testing teams and play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of the horizontal QA strategy of Data, Global Markets and Corporate systems.

Duties will include leading quality assurance activities for several agile development teams, working with development leads to build out a road map of upcoming enhancements, managing compliance with testing aspects of software development lifecycle requirements, and helping to coordinate testing concerns across other development teams in the organization and drive the test automation of DMC globally.

• Participate and contribute in driving the global QA strategy of DMC especially within DMC China
• Lead DMC automation committee group, drive out the automation standards across DMC global.
• Manage the quality assurance teams working on multiple projects affecting several applications
• Work closely with the Product Owner and others on requirements analysis, planning, project management, and execution.
• Own and be accountable for all functional and acceptance testing activities pertaining to technical projects, including the development of automation capabilities for testing product functionality.
• Be responsible for maintenance, optimization and refactoring of automated regression tests across a suite of applications
• Build strong partnerships with other technology & business leaders and peers.
• Support production systems to ensure business continuity and continuous improvement of applications supported.
• Advocate and implement best practices and improved team processes
• Work in a dynamic, fast-paced, Agile team environment.

• Stakeholder management with ability to work with global teams and leading multiple QA teams of different sizes
• Proven experience in creating and driving the QA strategy for Enterprise / BU - While managing the present solutions with eyes on future
• Strong understanding of distributed applications, asynchronous systems, messaging platforms and micro-services architecture.
• Work with QA Leads & stakeholders (Dev/Product) to define test strategy and research technologies and methodologies which will improve our test practices.
• Superior analytical and problem solving abilities with strong troubleshooting, debugging, and analysis skills
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle especially Agile methodologies
• Strong working knowledge of software build and release management processes such as maintaining QA environment would be a plus.
• Self-motivated, creative problem solver, organized, and responsible leader to bring in a good team culture
• Technical team management skills to lead technology teams with varied technology and functional delivery
• Ability to own the end-to-end responsibility and accountability for all QA delivery

• Bachelor's degree or above and minimum 10 years' experience in related field
