Quality Compliance Specialist

Job Summary: 

The Quality Compliance Specialist directly supports the Quality Compliance team in all related  activities within the Legal/Compliance department. The essential daily functions will include but are not limited  to: support approving new products, as part of New Items Onboarding Process, assist managing the HTS/schedule B codes,  and processing prohibit/restriction logic for iHerb. The Quality Compliance Specialist will support Quality Control’s requirements in relation to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) while assisting the maintenance of the company’s website by way of the APP content modification/updates in relation to quality compliance standards as set forth by iHerb.

Job Expectations:

• Support the Compliance team in correlation with the “New Items Onboard Process” 
• Support to process Prohibit/Restriction logic requests  
• Assist in managing HTS / Schedule B codes for iHerb 
• Assist with managing iHerb’s Customer Quality Control related complaints which will include coordinating next steps with  applicable internal departments and vendors
• Support reviewing iHerb’s Prohibited/Restriction related complaints from Customers and report and set up logic by leveraging internal systems 
• Assist with the maintenance of the company website and APP content modification/updates in relation to quality compliance
• Support the registration of products into various markets to obtain a certificate of registration
• Support and assist the Director of Quality Compliance in all functional requests and team directives ∙ Assist with Ad Hoc duties and projects

Equipment Knowledge:

• Intermediate Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) 
• Beginner Knowledge of TMS, WMS, and/or other equivalent service portals.
• Experience with Google Business Suite (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Forms) preferred

Experience Requirements:

Generally requires a minimum of one (1) year of experience in a Quality and  Compliance environment.

Education Requirements: 

Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field preferred, or a combination of education and equivalent  work experience.
