What You'll Do
The primary responsibility of the Quality Conformance Auditor is to ensure the highest level of order, product quality and 100% adherence to customer routing guide requirements for all shipments. This will be accomplished in part by performing random and planned audits to check for accuracy, quality of shipments, products, and conformance. A key component will also include addressing and providing supporting documents to dispute chargeback claims from all customers. Responsibilities include driving improvement in conformance and increases in the level of 100% quality, objectives, and customer expectations consistently.
  • Assists with a variety of conformance and quality audits in accordance with audit programs through the application of established policies and procedures
  • Respond to all chargeback claims from any and all customers with comprehensive evidence to dispute the charges
  • Checks and documents the work of others according to established guidelines, including performing audits in Shipping, Receiving and Outbound areas
  • Maintains Routing Guide, process conformance, and quality assurance programs
  • Scans all items in designated boxes while looking for defects or damage
  • Performs full order audits looking for broken pallets, damaged products, proper labeling, and proper packaging
  • Visually inspects product for damage, missing items, or mismatched items
  • Uses RF scanner to check for accuracy
  • Physically counts to ensure accuracy in inventory and shipments in a randomized fashion
  • Assists other members of the DC team, in any way possible, as determined by DC management
  • Utilizes audit techniques to document and determine the effectiveness of internal controls (i.e. interviews, observation, flow charting, compliance and substantive testing). Able to independently identify risks in a given process
  • Other duties as assigned

Bring It!
  • General knowledge of Distribution Center layout
  • Certification to drive forklifts, order picker, and turret powered industrial trucks
  • Proven ability to work safely with above average accuracy
  • Strong mathematical skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division without a calculator are required
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • WMS (Warehouse Management System) Reporting is preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 45 pounds independently
