Gerresheimer Peachtree City L.P. was established in 1993 in Peachtree City, GA, as part of the Plastics & Devices Division manufacturing and assembling a variety of precision molded plastic parts for various applications in the medical industry. The subsidiary operates in an 132 K sq. ft. production facility with 200 employees. 

Job Description

  • Monitoring of production in line with specifications along the value chain
  • Performing visual and dimensional tests in accordance with the test plan (without using large-scale measuring equipment such as coordinate measuring machines and Zwick testing machines) 

  • Carrying out product-specific measurements (e.g. particle analysis) 

  • Special measurements of components and assemblies according to specifications 

  • Quality control release of production orders (e.g. for batch start-up) 

  • Verification of test results 

  • Reaction in case of deviation according to internal processes 

  • Support for measurement system analyses 

  • Continuous Improvement / 5S 

  • Compliance with standards and in-house regulations (SOPs, BVs, etc.) 

Qualifications

  • 1 year of experience using EDP/IT (MES)
  • Good knowledge of the required QM guidelines 

  • Basic knowledge of test methods and measurement technology 

  • Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes (e.g. products and processes)

  • 8 hour shift : Monday - Friday
  • 6:45am - 3:15pm
