Quality Control Inspector

The Quality Control Inspector’s primary focus will be ensuring on-time delivery of high-quality products that meet our customer’s expectations. Supporting the manufacturing and design teams to ensure the parts and materials used in the manufacture of our products meet the specification requirements and aerospace standards.Â
This role reports to the Inspection Lead with support from manufacturing planning and other Quality roles, such as Manufacturing Quality Engineers, Metrology Engineers, and Supply Quality Engineers.Â

Responsibilities:Â
Â
- Perform dimensional, electrical, and/or visual inspections as appropriate for procured itemsÂ
- Operate manual and automated test and inspection equipmentÂ
- Review submitted supplier certifications as required (material and/or special process) for accuracy and completenessÂ
- Perform part and subassembly inspection or testingÂ
- Record legible, complete, and accurate inspection results and other documentationÂ
- Author Discrepancy Reports (DR) as neededÂ
- Support MRB inventory and clearance activitiesÂ
- Program or assist in programming automated test and inspection equipmentÂ
- Assist in calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment and update the calibration recall tracking systemÂ
- Other duties as assigned by Quality ManagementÂ

Required Qualifications:Â
Â
- High School degree (technical school preferred)Â Â
- Quality control/inspection experience in a precision machining or aerospace environment (5+ years)Â
- Ability to read drawings and standardsÂ
- Knowledge of the background and application of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)Â
- Skill using standard inspection tools, methods, and reporting requirementsÂ
- Previous experience with various types of metrology equipment used in performing dimensional or electrical inspections including their capabilities and limitationsÂ
- Experience in a moderate volume and mix manufacturing environmentÂ

Colorado law requires us to tell you the base compensation range of this role, which is $30.00 - $45.00 / hour, determined by your education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. The salary range for this role is intentionally wide as we are evaluating individuals based on their unique experience and abilities to fit our needs.
