Quality Coordinator

This is a Monday to Friday, full-time, day shift position.

Experience, Education, Skills & Knowledge Requirements

· Minimum 5 years of hands-on manufacturing experience

· Self Starter

· “Car person.” Build, tinker, fix, modify, or race anything that moves with an engine.

· Experience as a quality manager

· Comfortable both on the floor and in the boardroom.

· Analytical systems thinker

· MS Office and Sharepoint knowledge

Duties & Responsibilities:

· Analyze warranty data for quality trends and recommend corrective actions.

· Implement Inspection Measuring and Test Equipment calibration system.

· Implement Rotomasters receiving inspection process.

• Identify and record rejects within incoming vendor parts, arrange quarantine
• Audit to ensure incoming parts align with established quality standards and specifications.

· Identify opportunities for improvement across all quality system processes, working with team members to achieve completion

· Implement an in-process quality control process for the turbo reman process.

• Document quality checks activities and create auditing reports.

· Submit rejects for return to vendors' claims.

· Perform routine inspections and quality tests for assembled turbos before packaging.

· Investigate product faults, conduct root cause analysis, and provide assembly teams feedback.

· Coordinates the development of the Quality Assurance (QA) processes by monitoring, reporting, and administering actions which prevent the occurrence of non-conformities, tracking and verifying corrective actions, and reporting on the performance of the quality systems management

· Supports development of comprehensive tools to measure and monitor supplier performance across all categories of goods and services and throughout the entire lifecycle with the supplier

· Coordinates the quality awareness training

· Manages indirect QA functional specialists responsible for coordinating development and maintenance of functional processes and metrics

· Conduct stock purges when notified of quality issues that may pertain to inventoried material.

· ISO 9001 or IATF 16949 experience would be an asset

· Performs other duties as assigned.
