Quality engineer

Job Description Summary

Focus on products quality and defining controls . Ensure correct alignment with quality requirements. Ensure that manufactured or procured products meet specified standards before they progress to next phase of production or customer delivery. (Verification/Checking) Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team. Focused on execution of standard enabling activities/provision of advice subject to policy and work routines within an enabling discipline. There may be some latitude to rearrange the sequence to complete task/duties based on changing situations.

Job Description

• High voltage switchgear products quality plan development and maintain.
• New localization products quality control deployment and batch quality following.
• Familiar of the quality tools and usage in the daily work(Such as 8D, APQP, PFMEA, MSA, SPC).
• Lead team to handle the process quality issue and make correction.
• Lead teams make 8D analysis for the major quality issue and to make improvement for future.
• Process monitoring and audit to ensure quality requirement are deployed in the production and tests workstation.
• Push team to prevent the main quality issue before delivery and continually improvement to decrease the cost of poor quality.
• Sustain products batch quality stability and FPY improvement with multifunction department, data analysis and summary.
• Lead quality improvement project and with PDCA methodology.
• Support supplier quality improvement based on the NC detected in the workshop
• Products FAT document creation and customer FAT support for the products and tests.
• Familiar the IEC standard of the high voltage switchgear and routine tests in workshop.
• Support site issue analysis & customer audit
