Quality Engineer

Step into the dynamic world of VistaPrint as a Quality Engineer (1 FTE)
As Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for continuous improvement and assurance of the quality of production processes and end products to meet the KPI's. You are strongly skilled in data analysis to identify quality related problems, but quality issues can also be reported to you. You will then investigate those problems and work together with the relevant departments and/or colleagues to find solutions. In this position, you will be working closely with different Production Departments, Manufacturing Engineers and Marketing Teams.
In addition, you will review control points for current processes of existing products, but also implement control points in processes for new end products and be involved in the testing of new raw materials and new machines to ensure that the output complies to the required quality standard, before launch.
Your responsibilities will be:

• Analysing, documenting and reporting on customer complaints, and internal quality data.
• Initiate projects to improve the customer complaint rate.
• Working with marketing and product teams to define the parameters that are critical to product quality.
• Guiding new products and processes through the relevant control systems to ensure that launches run smoothly from the beginning.
• Working closely with the customer service in order to gain customer insights.
• Provide training on quality standards, when required, to the Quality Support Team.
• Collaborating with Operations Managers and other team members to develop and implement controls and improvements.

• Degree in quality, industrial or mechanical engineering
• Relevant experience in quality engineering and knowledge of Lean (preferable).
• Good knowledge of the English language, both spoken and written.
• You are a real team-player with the ability to influence others, and to translate views into actions.
• No problem with occasional travel.
