About the Team

This role will join Xero's Subscription & Billing team, we collect over a billion dollars of revenue every year. Our vision is to be the billing product for Xero that scales quickly, integrates easily, enables insights while delighting customers with a beautiful self service experience.

About the Role

We are seeking a Quality Engineer to help push forward our quality mindset as we scale up Xero’s billing products. You’ll be responsible for leading and executing quality initiatives within your team, helping to re-think software testing in this space and become a beacon of what good practices look like. 

This is an exciting opportunity for anyone who wants to put their stamp on a product, take ownership of their work, and help others around them grow. 

What you'll bring:

• Previous experience in a similar quality engineering role. You’ll be hands on with the ability to write tests and confidently pair with software engineers
• You’ll be a capable quality coach, with a proven track record of mentoring others and driving best practice within the team
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies and tools, with a keen eye for modern testing practices and a “shift-left” mindset
• Exposure to a range of technologies, including .NET, AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform
