Quality Engineer (Haverhill)

Position Summary: Fusion Worldwide is a multi-billion-dollar electronic components distributor and as we continue to grow globally, we are looking to add a Quality Engineer to our warehouse in Haverhill, MA. This individual will report to the Senior Quality Engineer and will have an interest working with electronic component distribution, logistics, and supply chain management. The role supports inspection process improvement and problem-solving efforts with the focus on protecting and satisfying both internal teams and external customers.

What you can do for us: 

• Provide support to customers and interface with customer quality engineering when any quality issues arise; prepare corrective action and follow up on implementation and close out. 
• Assess quality and ensure all products are free from defects and in compliance with engineering, manufacturing specifications, and government standards.
• Responsible for quality decisions on product, based on results of incoming inspection; including working with inspectors to understand findings.
• Proactively identify issues and drive continuous process improvement.
• Maintain and refine the Fusion Counterfeit Avoidance Program.
• Learn and disseminate information relating to quality and counterfeiting of parts, along with developing and implementing new methods for identification. Utilize industry contacts to discover new counterfeiting techniques.
• Provide monthly updates on activities/process improvements. 

Who we’re looking for: 

• BS Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry. 
• 2-5 years of experience with semiconductor integrated circuit (IC) manufacturing, packaging, and labeling. 
• Understanding of equipment/tools for the inspection and testing of electronic components (IC's in particular) 
• Original Component Manufacturer (OCM) and distribution quality experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions.
• Manage and meet customer expectations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
